Oh Yeon Joo learns that her father has disappeared while drawing the last issue of his webtoon, W. As she investigates, she is pulled into the world of W, where she saves the hero, Kang Chul. 

Episode 1

Yeon Joo is featured on the new episode of W. She confronts her father and is pulled back into the webtoon. Kang Chul considers her the key to his life. She finds a unique way to return to reality.

Episode 2

Yeon Joo investigates her father's files and discovers that the webtoon is drawing itself. Back in the webtoon world, Kang Chul interrogates her at gunpoint. He shoots, but she has no injury.

Episode 3

Chul's assistant, Yoon So Hee, tries to get Yeon Joo arrested but is demoted. Chul visits Yeon Joo in prison, where she tells him the truth about W. A shocked Chul finds a portal to the real world. 

Episode 4

In the real world, Chul reads W and meets Yeon Joo. He goes to his creator, Oh Seong Moo's house. He confronts Seong Moo about his family's killer and shoots him when he doesn't get answers. 

Episode 5

Chul commits suicide as Seong Moo recovers in the hospital. These actions get uploaded in the last issue of W. Some time later, the 'The End' mark on the webtoon changes itself to 'To Be Continued'.

Episode 6

Kang Chul meets Yeon Joo in prison and learns that she restarted the webtoon. While he is upset about being just a character, Yeon Joo confesses her love. Chul marries her to get her out of prison. 

Episode 7

Yeon Joo officially turns into a character in the webtoon. She goes back to the real world, where the killer follows and attacks her. Meanwhile, Chul discovers So Hee fading and takes a tough call.

Episode 8

Seong Moo returns to Korea, deciding to give W a happy ending. Yeon Joo is dragged back into the webtoon world, and the killer retains Seong Moo's face. Later, Chul is unable to recognise Yeon Joo.

Episode 9

The killer manipulates Seong Moo's webtoon alter ego to change the story. He decides to frame Kang Chul for murder. Chul escapes but is shot. Yeon Joo takes him to a safe place and returns to reality.

Episode 10

Yeon Joo discovers her father's faceless figure and uses his tablet to help Kang Chul treat himself. As the story moves forward, Chul finds a connection between the webtoon world and the real world.

Episode 11

Chul and Yeon Joo step into the real world as a couple. Chul breaks Seong Moo's tablet but later fixes it to get justice for his family. He learns that he can travel between the worlds at will. 

Episode 12

Chul learns he can summon characters into the real world. He accidentally brings the killer, who orders Seong Moo to destroy his tablet and trap Chul. Chul locates the killer, but Yeon Joo gets shot. 

Episode 13

Chul brings Yeon Joo into the webtoon world to recover, but she dies. Seong Moo grieves about not being able to revive his daughter. Yeon Joo is brought back to life in the real and webtoon worlds. 

Episode 14

In the last chapter, Kang Chul is sentenced to death, but he escapes. The police are about to arrest Seong Moo's villain alter ego. Yeon Joo realises that she will either lose her father or Chul.

Episode 15

Kang Chul is shot again. He calls Yeon Joo to save him but collapses. Yeon Joo is sent back to the real world. The killer is brought to justice. Will this be the end of Chul and Yeon Joo's romance?
