Xiao Qing chooses singles figure skating because of her feelings for Shao Beisheng, even though her brother expresses concern about it. The play also involves the efforts and challenges of the Drama Club; despite the lukewarm audience response, the actors still feel the charm of the stage. Xiao Qing ultimately gains the coach's support and receives new ice skates.
