Mu Lihua traps Shen Zhiheng and his team in a mine by sealing off both the entrance and exit. Shen Zhiheng, however, continues to resist. Mi Lan, initially forced by the enemy, eventually discovers her love for Shen Zhiheng. As the group tries to escape, Situ Weilian is injured, and Li Guisheng, hiding in the shadows, takes advantage of the situation to kill him.
