Au Yeung Chun gets involved with loan sharks because of his indebted brother, Ching. While Ching takes refuge, Chun goes to visit Yuen Tin Chau in King Boxing, where he meets Lee Sing Tung. Despite Tung's help, Chun gets kicked out of the gym and gets beaten up again, but he swears to not keep his head down anymore.

Au Yeung Chun finally meets Yuen Tin Chau, but he finds out that his brother was never friends with him. After having his cry for help ignored and being left to the loan sharks' beating, Chun gets mad at Tin Chau and wishes to defeat him. Meanwhile, Sing Tung helps Chun and teaches him how to box.

Ms. Fan suggests that Ace Boxing and King Boxing each send a representative for a warm-up match. So, Lo Kin holds an in-house elimination tournament in which Au Yeung Chun takes part in. Sing Tung teaches Au Yeung Chun more boxing techniques while using him to predict Tin Chau's next opponents' moves.

To everyone's surprise, Chun defeats all of his seniors in the gym and qualifies to compete in the warm-up match. He then undergoes intensive diet and training planned by Sing Tung. Later, he joins Tin Chau's even more vigorous training, but an accident happens.

Rope A Dope EP 4

After Si Si's accident, Tin Chau and Chun's relationship improves. Chun tries to invite Sau Yin to watch his match, and he ends up meeting and inviting a potential love rival. As the competition begins, Chun the underdog shows the audience his perseverance.

Rope A Dope EP 5

The match between Tin Chau and Eddie ends with a tragic accident. Traumatized, Tin Chau gives up on joining Future View. Gam Sing Leung takes this opportunity to make a deal with Fan Siu Fung and invite a dangerous person on board.

Rope A Dope EP 6

Chun begins his career as a professional boxer under Future View. Following Lo Kin's arrangements, Chun gains his fame with several consecutive wins. As Fan Siu Fung reveals her plan to set up a fight between Chun and Hulk, Lo Kin strongly protests but to no avail.

Rope A Dope EP 7

Lo Kin uses maneuvers to kick Hulk out of the match with Chun. To satisfy Fan Siu Fung, Gam Sing Leung arranges another match for Chun against Izawa Kon, the reigning boxing champion of Asia. Everyone except Sau Yin thinks Chun will lose for sure, but Chun keeps his hope up.

Lo Kin tries to make Chun drop out of the match against Izawa and convince Tin Chau to fight in his place. Despite Lo Kin's interference, Chun is determined to challenge the Asian boxing champion. After Chun finds out about Lo Kin's ploys, he decides to take matters into his own hands.

Chun enters a coma after a car accident. Persuaded by Lo Kin and Ivy, Tin Chau makes a comeback to fight Izawa in Chun's place. Meanwhile, Gam Sing Leung tries to approach Shing Tung and invites him to work as a trainer in Ace Boxing.

Rope A Dope EP 10

Tin Chau and Izawa fight neck and neck in the first three rounds. Tin Chau makes history by holding out to round four, but the bout ends with his devastating defeat, leaving his friends and family heartbroken and in remorse.

Rope A Dope EP 11

Chun wakes up from a coma. He wants to challenge Izawa to fulfill Tin Chau's wish, but he encounters a strong opposition from Shing Tung. Shing Tung then turns to Ace Boxing and begins his career as a boxer only to stop Chun.

Rope A Dope EP 12

As Chun and Shing Tung become opponents in the upcoming match, Lo Kin takes up Shing Tung's role as Chun's trainer. Sau Yin decides to stay with Chun, but the intense training worries her. Meanwhile, Shing Tung's grandmother encourages him to fight for his dream and gives him her blessing.

Rope A Dope EP 13

Fan Siu Fung tries to manipulate the tournament, but Lo Kin repents and refuses to be complicit. With the support of Sau Yin and his friends in King Boxing, Chun overcomes all obstacles to master the skill of rope-a-dope. Both Chun and Shing Tung defeat other opponents in the tournament, entering the finals against each other.

Rope A Dope EP 14

Chun and Shing Tung give their all to fight each other in the final. In the end, Lo Kin and Gam Sing Leung let go of their grudges, while Fan Siu Fung comes to realize that money cannot buy people's hearts. Chun continues to work hard as professional boxer and reach for higher goals.
