Reporter Ananya along with her cameraman, are in search for a piece of breaking news. Meanwhile, the heartthrob of the nation, reporter Kabir Sharma explains the importance of Journalism to aspiring media students. Kabir and Ananya are coincidentally covering the same news of a politician forcefully getting married to a girl half his age. Will Ananya's dream of working with her idol, Kabir Sharma come true?

Episode 1

Ananya is spotted by the politican, Chaturvedi's goons. However, she thinks on her feet and manages to get away from there, with her footage intact. Now she finally has some groundbreaking footage which will definitely help the ranks in her career. Stay tuned to find out more.

Kabir is surprised to see Politician Pannalal Chaturvedi's footage which was captured by Ananya. Khalid succeeds in convincing Kabir Sharma to take Politician Pannalal Chaturvedi's exclusive interview on his news channel KKN. Watch out to find out more.

Kabir Sharma, who has recently joined Khalid's KKN news channel, comes up with yet another breaking news. But  Senior Editor Manav fears for his reputation and hold over the company now that Kabir is here. Stay tuned to find out what happens next.

Episode 4

Ananya reaches Remand house with the hope of meeting Nidhi but she meets her helpless parents who are surrounded by reporters, attacking them with embarrassing questions. Ananya feels bad for them and asks her stringer, Tinnu to find out the link to Remand house. Later on, Ananya and Kabir get into an argument over this particular story.

Episode 5

After their argument regarding the ethics of journalism, Ananya feels insulted by Kabir's act. She is also concerned for Nidhi, as police would be filing a case against her at 4 pm. Ananya seems determined to convince Kabir to air Nidhis statement but he totally ignores her. What will she do now?

Episode 6

Ananya is clearly upset on her deed. All her friends comfort her, as Kabir has accepted her resignation.  Meanwhile, Manav tries to manipulate Ananya by consoling her and taking advantage of her position. Will Ananya work with Manav now?

Episode 7

Ananya walks out, accepting the twenty-four-hour ultimatum. Meanwhile, her friend introduces her to Varun who despite his capabilities, was not selected in the under 19 cricket team as he refused to bribe the selector. Ananya sees this as an opportunity for a big break and getting Varun to his rightful spot. Watch the episode to find out more.

Episode 8

Ananya, along with Ronnie's help gets the sting operation set up done in KKN. Varun pleads Krishna to get him on the team but Krishna asks for a bribe in return. However, as all this is going on, Kabir is about to enter the green room. Can Ananya stop him from spoiling her plan?

Kabir grills the selector on the live telecast and gives the credit to Ananya for her successful sting operation. Manav clearly looks upset but the rest of the people rejoice on Ananya's efforts being appreciated. Stay tuned to find out more.

Manav out of anger goes to Malvikas house where Kabir and Malvika are enjoying their drinks. Next day, Kabir tells Ananya that her plan worked out and the police have arrested the man who came to the hospital. On her way to cover Khurana's interview, she overhears Manav talking with someone over the phone where he discusses on messing up Kabir's career. What will Ananya do now?

Episode 11

While covering Khurana's interview, Sunny tells Ananya about Dr Sinha's face being painted black by students as he sexually harassed an intern. Ronnie informs Kabir, who is having lunch with Khalid and Malvika about the exclusive news coverage by the rival channel, Khabar 29. Kabir rejects the idea of a celebration for being at No. 2 position.

Episode 12

Ananya goes to Sinha's house but he denies giving any response to the accusation. Kabir on the other hand, states on his bulletin that Dr Sinha must be given a chance to speak. Meanwhile, Neha's lawyer threatens to sue KKN for Kabir's controversial statement. Next day, everybody is shocked as they watch how Kabir's name is slandered on Khabar 29.

Episode 13

Everybody is speculating whether Kabir will stay in KKN or leave. Ananya goes to the medical campus to know more about Neha. Kabir enters the hospital in the disguise of a doctor and befriends a ward boy easily and collects the information from him. Stay tuned to find out more.

Ananya brings Mahi home as she is deeply touched with her condition. Everyone is excited about the 9'o clock news in anticipation. However, Ananya informs Kabir that the lead was pseudo and Kabir in anger drags her into his cabin. What will Kabir do now?

Ananya looks disturbed but Ronnie tries to console her. Manav backfires on Malvika infront of everyone and she stays stunned. Meanwhile, Ananya is stunned when she sees the police raid at some hotel where many celebrities are caught with drugs.

Kabir has proved that Apurva Shroff is actually missing. However, now his task is to figure out where he is hiding. Kabir goes to inform Khurana to keep an eye on Apurva Shroff's party leader. Just then, Ananya also calls up Khurana.

Ananya has found out that Apurva Shroff's wife, Bhavna is having an affair. She comes to the conclusion that Bhavna must be behind why Apurva has gone missing all of a sudden. Ananya and Kabir get into a small quarrel of signing papers. Manav gets a call from an informer that he is doing a big mistake to not go for the interview with Baghi Madhavnath. Ananya tries to calm the management telling them not to make the interview a big deal. Baghi Madhavnath calls Ananya and tells her to be there in an hour. Who will go with Ananya?

Kabir and Ananya are captured by Madhavnath's men at a fake checkpoint. Meanwhile, everyone at KKN is tensed about Kabir and Ananya as they have announced the 9 pm show with Kabir. Madhavnath is annoyed with the fact that Kabir has come along with Ananya. Will Madhavnath hurt them? Will they be able to escape Madhavnath's den?

Kabir and Ananya interview Baaghi Madhavnath. He says that Kishan Jai Singhania's film shouldn't get released and also tells them that because of the government what all hardships he has faced in life. He says that no matter what happens, he'll take what's his and whatever he has a right on.  Later, Madhavnath doesn't let Ananya and Kabir go back and decides to keep them as a hostage.

Ananya gets angry and argues with Madhavnath. Madhavnath warns them to behave. Kabir scolds Ananya for her behavior and tries to reason with her and asks her to think and act sensibly. Police officer, Khurana finds Ananya's locket where they were held captive.

Ananya suddenly realizes that she doesn't have her locket around her neck. Kabir tells her that he left her locket as a clue where they were before. Ananya starts panicking and runs to get her back her locket. Madhavnath thinks she's trying to run away and he shoots her. Is Ananya dead? Only one way to find out.

Ananya tells Kabir about her father, Sudhir Kashyap, and how Kabir's article about him was an inspiration to her. Kabir and Ananya somehow manage to untie each other. Just then, Madhavnath comes there tells them that the government is not ready to cooperate and so he will have to kill Ananya and Kabir. Kabir tries to manipulate Madhavnath's men.
