In the emergency room of Agricultural University Pet Hospital, intern Tian Tian and her mentor revive a Samoyed after it briefly loses vital signs. The grateful owner, Shen Mi, turns out to be her idol from school. After graduating, Tian Tian joins her father at Tianlin Animal Hospital. On her birthday, she mistakenly confuses Shen Mi for her father in the hospital, leading to a mix-up.

Episode  1

Shen Mi brought Carlo home, scolding him for being too trusting and urging him to be smarter. Meanwhile, Shen Chen called to share his infatuation, but Shen Mi dismissed it as another fleeting crush. At Tianlin Hospital, Tian Tian panicked before a surgery on a silver fox dog, Loki, and fled the operating room, leaving it to Dr. Chen Yifan.

Shen Rongxian, chairman of Lvchuan Group, was live streaming a promotion when his mischievous grandson Shen Chen interrupted. Later, Shen Mi arrived for dinner and set a bet with Shen Chen, challenging him to find a legitimate job within a month without family support. Meanwhile, Shen Rongxian tasked Shen Mi with turning around a loss-making pet hospital.

During a struggle over Carlo's food, Shen Mi and Tian Tian fell to the ground, caught by Han Mengnan, who had brought a private doctor for Shen Mi. Despite Han's offer, Shen Mi insisted on keeping Tian Tian as his private doctor. Reluctantly, Tian Tian agreed to meet Shen Mi's grandfather, Shen Rongxian. After successfully passing an inquiry, she officially became Shen Mi's private doctor.

Tian Peilan urged Tian Tian to prioritize the survival of Tianlin Hospital and set aside her biases to collaborate with Shen Mi. However, Tian Tian felt their values were incompatible. After Grandpa Zhou suffered a heart attack, his loyal dog Hu Zi waited anxiously outside the hospital. At a university reunion, Tian Tian drank excessively and lashed out at Shen Mi, deleting his contacts in anger.

Tian Tian opened up to Shen Mi about her trauma from losing her beloved dog, Zai Zai, and her inability to perform surgery since. Tragically, they learned that Hu Zi had died from severe injuries, leaving Tian Tian devastated. Shen Mi comforted her, emphasizing the gratitude of the animals and owners she had saved and encouraged her to accept his collaboration offer.

New nurse Xiao Yue noticed the cold tension between Tian Tian and Shen Mi and inquired about it. To save costs, Shen Mi decided to share an office with Tian Tian. After a house call, they argued about their personal issues. Back at the hospital, chaos erupted when the Shiba Inu's owner blamed Chen Yifan for a near-death experience. Shen Mi diffused the situation and revealed Xiao Yue's mistake.

During a group dinner, staff complained about the new performance evaluation system, but Tian Tian encouraged teamwork for the hospital's benefit. While Shen Mi's public sponsorship drew customers, it failed to meet conversion needs. Tian Tian organized a flyer distribution campaign, with minimal results.

Shen Chen arrived at Tianlin Hospital to get closer to Tian Tian and was hired for his impressive skills, but he ran into Shen Mi, who warned him to stay away, saying Tian Tian was different. Shen Chen refused to leave, and they agreed to pretend not to know each other. On Qixi Festival, Han Mengnan invited Shen Mi out, but he declined.

The next day, Shen Chen found his colleagues cheering him on after Tian Peilan revealed his pursuit of Tian Tian. To impress her, he bought her favorite mango smoothie. Meanwhile, Tian Tian secretly negotiated a collaboration but was nearly drugged; she called Shen Mi for help. Shen Chen arrived first and saved her, but Shen Mi misunderstood and injured him.

During Zhao Hao's painting session with Tian Tian and Shen Mi, the stray cat Da Huang ran off, leading them to an abandoned house with a stray cat colony. They found a pregnant cat, Da Bai, in need of urgent care and rushed her to Tian Lin. Chen Yifan, called in for surgery, reconciled with Zhao Hao after realizing he had wronged him.

While Tian Tian and Shen Mi sought evidence of harmful cat food at the cafe, they narrowly avoided being caught by the boss. Shen Mi took the food for testing, confirming it contained harmful substances. To expose the café, the Tian Lin team held a live broadcast, successfully rescuing stray cats and deepening Tian Tian's understanding of Shen Mi's intentions.

At the hotel, Tian Tian and Shen Mi found a honeymoon suite booked by Tian Peilan. Shen Mi teased about punishing Peilan but encouraged Tian Tian to relax. After encountering Shen Chen, who invited Tian Tian boating, she declined and left when he went to get food. At the river, she shared secrets with Shen Mi, but he was interrupted before confessing.

Shen Mi confided in Tian Tian about his guilt over their friend Gao Zhuo's death while saving him, deepening their bond. At a conference banquet, Gu Mingze helped Han Mengnan through a tough situation, leading to heartfelt confessions on the rooftop and the beginning of their relationship. Meanwhile, Shen Chen, broke and starving, awaited Tian Tian and Shen Mi's return.

Sister Ju threatened Tianlin Hospital for a public apology, believing they acted recklessly with Shen Mi's support. Shen Mi accepted the challenge as he and Tian Tian analyzed her behavior. Shen Chen and Tian Tian's attempts to gather information from Boss Fei were fruitless. Following a confrontation, Shen Mi expressed her disdain for Han Mengnan, leaving her heartbroken.

Late at night, Tian Tian reflected on her father's teachings in veterinary medicine, struggling to overcome her trauma from her dog Zai Zai's surgery. The next day, she proposed partnerships with dog shelters to Tian Peilan and sought Shen Mi's support, but Shen Mi was unavailable due to her grandfather's inspection. Tian Tian teamed up with Shen Chen to secure partnerships.

Shen Mi and Shen Chen teamed up to stop Gu Mingze from visiting Tianlin Hospital, leading to an angry confrontation with Tian Tian, who felt his presence was detrimental. Frustrated, she visited her father, Tian Dongqing, who encouraged her to see her partnership with Shen Mi in a new light. That night, Shen Mi and Gu Mingze had a meaningful but tense conversation about Tian Tian and Han Mengnan.

The next morning, while having breakfast with the cottage owners, Tian Tian and Shen Mi discovered they were the parents of the Dog Shelter owner they sought, leading to a collaboration with Tianlin Hospital. Shen Chen confronted Shen Mi about spending the night with Tian Tian, accusing her of breaking their agreement, but Shen Mi insisted nothing happened.

Everyone brought Xing Tao to an artificial beach for a final goodbye to his mother, friends, and dog, evoking tears and reflections on life's preciousness, prompting Tian Yu Xian to take Shen Chen to meet his parents that night. Meanwhile, Tianlin Hospital faced poor performance evaluations, leading Tian Tian to accept full responsibility.

Shen Chen informed Tian Yu Xian about Tian Tian moving in with Shen Mi, prompting them to plot against it. During dinner, Shen Chen impressed Tian Tian's parents with his cooking while revealing the cohabitation plans, but Tian Dongqing firmly supported Tian Tian's decision. The next day, she moved in but chose the sofa due to a fear of the guest room.

After Tianlin Hospital turned a profit, he suggested a team-building dinner there, but his plan to separate Tian Tian and Shen Mi backfired and led to his capture by a zombie.

Eager to help Shen Mi with Professor Guo Fan's patent issue, Tian Tian was mistakenly seen as aiding Gu Mingze, making Shen Mi jealous. Investigating, Tian Tian found Guo Jiao, who revealed that she had caused a fire that ruined her father's research and blamed Xiao Pai, leading to the dog's abandonment. Despite this, Xiao Pai remained loyal and ultimately saved Professor Guo from a gas leak.

Shen Mi, Tian Tian, and others successfully prevented Shen Hongyuan's new drug release, highlighting the need for improvements in the lymphoma therapy. Shen Hongyuan, criticized by Shen Rong Xian for prioritizing profit over Lv Chuan's mission, was forced to resign from the R&D department and hand over responsibilities to Dr. Gu Mingze.

Simultaneously, Han Mengnan confronted Gu Mingze about the viral kiss between Shen Mi and Tian Tian, questioning his role in hiding the truth. This provoked her to investigate further. As the pet competition approached, Tian Lin prepared for battle against Happy Pet International.

During the finals of the Pet Competition, Tian Yu Xian faced an unexpected setback when his electric clippers were tampered with, forcing him to use scissors. Despite not winning, he received applause. Shen Mi then revealed last-minute rule changes disqualifying Wen Jing, causing panic. Shen Chen stepped in as a substitute, surprising everyone with his identity.

Despite winning the audience's hearts, Tianlin Hospital lost to Happy Pet International due to competition rules. Shen Mi moved everyone with his heartfelt speech about growth and change. After the match, he invited Tian Tian over to treat his arm, where they shared warm, humorous moments. Tianlin's benevolence secured its qualification for lymphoma targeted therapy.

After receiving Baby's Breath from Shen Mi's mother, Tian Tian felt downcast, especially when her own mother remarked on its poor condition. Arriving at Shen Mi's house, she found it filled with Baby's Breath, as Shen Mi expressed his love for the flower's simplicity and beauty, touching Tian Tian. They later visited Yan Dejun, a blind marathon champion, with his guide dog, Champion.

During the farewell marathon for guide dog Champion, Tian Tian fell and scraped her knee, but Shen Mi inspired everyone by pushing her and Champion in a wheelchair to lead runner Yan Dejun. Champion miraculously jumped out to finish the race, bringing tears to everyone's eyes. Judge Zhang Lin requested Tian Yu Xian to style a unique pet wedding.

Han Mengnan confronted Shen Mi at their meeting spot, demanding he marry her under threat of exposing his impersonation of Gao Zhuo. At Grandpa Shen Rong Xian's 80th birthday, Han Mengnan announced their wedding in three days, shocking everyone. Shen Mi, forced to comply, admitted to the plan, while his mother celebrated the engagement.

Shen Mi met Tian Tian by the lake but proposed a breakup, claiming he never loved her and revealing his upcoming marriage to Han Mengnan. Heartbroken, Tian Tian couldn't accept it. Gu Mingze overheard the news, while Tian Tian returned to Lv Chuan, finding everyone celebrating her engagement amidst her tears. Shen Chen, hoping to pursue Tian Tian, secretly took a strand of Shen Mi's hair.

During Han Mengnan and Shen Mi's wedding, Han Mengnan walked down the aisle in a beautiful white dress. Meanwhile, bridesmaid Tian Tian and best man Tian Yuxian led the pet wedding couple. In a moment of clarity, Shen Mi prepared to decline the marriage, but Han Mengnan preempted him, confessing she had moved on. Afterward, both Shen Mi and Tian Tian received a distress call from Carlo.

Shen Mi rushed to Tianlin Hospital to confess her secret to Tian Tian but was interrupted by news of her grandfather Shen Rongxian's cerebral hemorrhage. At the Shen family mansion, Han Guannian read Shen Rongxian's will, while Shen Hongyuan revealed a paternity test showing Shen Mi was not related to Shen Rongxian.

During a shareholders' meeting, Du Xinya, Shen Mi's mother, held the largest stake in LvChuan. Shen Hongyuan offered to become president, but Han Mengnan and Shen Mi interrupted, accusing him of creating the company's crisis. Shen Mi revealed his true identity to Tian Tian, asserting his genuine feelings.
