During the Northern Song Dynasty’s Yuan You era (1086–1093), Emperor Zhao Xu, though wise in many matters of statecraft, was largely oblivious to the brutal realities of warfare. His reign, marked by a focus on internal consolidation, failed to recognize the looming threat from the Liao Empire to the north. The Liao Emperor, Yelu Hongji, had long harbored ambitions.

Episode 1

Zhong Ling's heart raced as Sikong Xuan's cold gaze bore into her. The venom from the weasel bite was rapidly spreading through his veins, causing his face to twist in agony. His voice, though strained with pain, remained sharp and demanding. You must have an antidote. Tell me what it is, and I might spare your life.

Episode 2

The murder of Jin Qi’er shook Wan Jie Valley to its core, leaving its master, Zhong Wanchou, seething with uncontrollable rage. Jin Qi’er had been a trusted confidante and close ally, and her untimely death threatened to unravel the delicate balance of power within the valley. Zhong Wanchou’s temper, already known to be volatile and unpredictable, flared into a storm of suspicion.

Episode 3

Duan Yu and Mu Wanqing had devised a clever plan to rescue Zhong Ling from Sikong Xuan’s captivity. Disguised as imperial orders, they wrote official decrees that demanded Sikong Xuan release Zhong Ling and hand over the antidote she needed. The two presented their forged orders with authority, and Sikong Xuan, though suspicious, could not afford to disobey.

Episode 4

Upon learning of the tense situation at the border, Qiao Feng immediately took action, rallying the Beggar Sect brothers and leading them to provide support for the Song forces. He quickly informed General Han of the arrival of Xuan Bei Master and other renowned heroes who had come to aid in the defense of the city.

Episode 5

After the intense battle, General Han and the Chu King convened to discuss the next steps. The Chu King, recognizing the precarious situation, agreed to retreat in exchange for his own release, sparing his army from further bloodshed. With the Liao soldiers repelled and the immediate threat quelled, General Han called for a grand feast to honor the warriors who had fought bravely alongside him.

Episode 6

Duan Yu and Mu Wanqing traveled together to Yuxu Temple, a serene Taoist sanctuary nestled in the mountains. As they approached, a stunning Taoist nun emerged from the temple, her demeanor warm and affectionate. She greeted Duan Yu with a closeness that seemed almost intimate, leaving Mu Wanqing, who had silently admired Duan Yu’s charm.

Episode 7

In the midst of turmoil, the Four Evils took advantage of the chaos to abduct Duan Yu, knowing his capture would send shockwaves through the region. His disappearance created an uproar, but Duan Zhengchun, desperate to secure his son's safety, quickly took action. In a cold move, he targeted the vital points of Qin Hongmian and Madam Zhong.

Episode 8

Duan Yu appeared with Zhong Ling in front of the gathered crowd, causing an immediate stir. The sight of his daughter with Duan Yu infuriated Zhong Gu Master, who, in a fit of rage, threatened to kill Zhong Ling for associating with the boy. His anger was palpable, and his eyes blazed with fury. However, Duan Yu's father, the respected Duan family patriarch, intervened swiftly.

Episode 9

Duan Yu, having successfully rescued Zhong Ling from danger, was struck down by a malevolent poison, which plunged him into a deep coma. His family, desperate and helpless, rushed him back to his home, where his condition continued to worsen. The poison had not only attacked his body but also began to erode his sanity, causing him to suffer vivid hallucinations and erratic behavior.

Episode 10

In *Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils* by Jin Yong, the scene where Jiumozhi captures Duan Yu and takes him to Suzhou unfolds with tension and complexity. After Jiumozhi forcibly compels Duan Yu to write down the Six Meridians Sword Technique, Duan Yu stubbornly refuses, unwilling to yield to the pressure. Frustrated, Jiumozhi decides to take him to Suzhou in search of the Canhe Villa.

Episode 11

Duan Yu, feeling the urgent need to relieve himself, ventured toward a secluded corner of the villa. As he approached, he overheard a conversation between several women, their voices light and melodic. One of them spoke with a distinct grace, and her words seemed to echo in his mind. He turned and caught sight of her, and his breath caught in his throat.

Episode 12

The murder of Master Xuan Bei sent shockwaves through the martial arts community. Whispers of betrayal and suspicion rippled through the crowd as all eyes turned to Murong Fu, who stood accused. The Abbot, representing the monastery’s authority, addressed him with a calm yet authoritative voice. Murong Fu, you have been named in connection with this heinous crime.

Episode 13

Feng Sige had been gravely poisoned, and the situation was dire. The venom was spreading quickly through his body, and time was running out. Qiao Feng, renowned for his martial arts prowess and deep knowledge of medicine, quickly prepared the antidote. However, administering it required purging the poison directly from the wound, a dangerous and delicate task.

Episode 14

In a turbulent turn of events, Quanguan Qing instigated a revolt within the Beggar Sect, challenging the leadership and spreading discontent. However, despite mounting pressure, Quanguan Qing refused to disclose Qiao Feng’s secret background, maintaining his silence. Qiao Feng, realizing the danger posed by such rebellion.

Episode 15

After reading the two letters, Qiao Feng finally understood the truth behind the mysterious events. Elder Xu, realizing the gravity of the situation, had no choice but to reveal the letters. They contained information that cast doubt on Ma Dayuan's death, and with Kang Min accusing Qiao Feng of being the murderer, the tension escalated.

Episode 16

Duan Yu fought valiantly against Li Yanzong but was ultimately overpowered. Li Yanzong, confident in his victory, demanded that Duan Yu kneel and bow three times to show submission, promising to spare his life if he complied. But Duan Yu, defiant to the end, refused to kneel. With unyielding resolve, he declared, I would rather die than submit!.

Episode 17

In the midst of a tense standoff, the Western Xia general, admiring Murong Fu's martial prowess, acknowledged his strength. However, the situation took a sharp turn when Qiao Feng, known for his unmatched martial arts, demanded the release of the imprisoned Beggar Sect brothers. The Western Xia general, unwilling to yield so easily.

Episode 18

A Zhu, cleverly disguised as Zhiqing, slipped through the shadows beneath the temple's towering statue. Her heart raced as she uncovered a hidden scripture, its surface engraved with mysterious symbols. Her plan was simple—retrieve the ancient text and escape before anyone discovered her. But fate was cruel, and as she made her way toward the temple's exit.

Qiao Feng knelt beside A Zhu, gently tending to her injuries as his heart weighed heavy with a mixture of guilt and sorrow. As he carefully bandaged her wounds, he began to recount a painful story from his past—a tale of a poor, orphaned boy who had grown up amidst hardship and cruelty. The boy, he explained, had always been an outcast.

Qiao Feng stood tall after drinking the pact of friendship wine, the deep crimson liquid draining from his cup as the gesture of camaraderie echoed in the stillness of the hall. But before the cup even hit the floor, dozens of warriors from various sects leaped forward, their weapons aimed at his life, hoping to avenge perceived wrongs and assert their dominance.

A Zhu, ever concerned for Qiao Feng’s well-being, advised him to refrain from drinking. With a mix of gratitude and respect, Qiao Feng agreed, understanding the wisdom in her words. The two of them, now traveling together under the guise of common travelers, took every precaution to avoid drawing attention. Their journey was one of quiet tension.

It gleamed with an unsettling brilliance, yet it was the faint, engraved character Duan on A Zi’s left shoulder that truly stopped her heart. The recognition hit her like a thundercla, Duan Zhengchun's daughter. Ruan Xingzhu had heard of Duan Zhengchun.

A Zi's behavior had grown increasingly ruthless, and Qiao Feng, ever the pragmatist, ultimately decided that she could not be trusted on their journey. He resolved to leave her behind for her own safety and the welfare of the group. However, A Zi, ever the manipulator, feigned distress, clutching her chest and crying in agony, claiming that she was gravely injured from the sudden abandonment.

As he did so, the creature drank greedily, and A Zi, ever determined, swiftly collected the black blood that poured from his wounds. The dark substance would serve as the key to her martial arts cultivation.

Ding Chunqiu arrived, flanked by his loyal disciples, as the tense atmosphere grew thicker with each passing moment. When You Tanzhi caught sight of the monk on the stretcher, a flicker of recognition passed across his face. He immediately whispered to Ding Chunqiu, identifying the monk as the one who had once raised silkworms.

Episode 34

Wang Yuyan stood at the edge of the dense forest, her heart heavy with worry. She couldn't bring herself to leave the battlefield, her thoughts constantly with her cousin, Murong Fu. The fierce clashing of swords echoed through the woods as the battle raged on. Although Murong Fu was an exceptionally skilled martial artist, the number of enemies pressing in on him was overwhelming.

Episode 35

Seeing that Wu Laoda was still breathing, the Tianshan Child, with an expression that barely concealed her urgency, turned to Xu Zhu. Quickly, she commanded, take out the Nine Turns Bear Snake Pill. It can revive him. Xu Zhu hesitated, his brow furrowing. The pill, a legendary elixir from Kui Jiu Palace, was said to possess the power to bring the dead back to life.

Episode 36

Xu Zhu's face flushed with anger as he glared at Li Qiushui, his voice trembling with fury. You are no better than a vengeful ghost, he spat. Your methods are cruel and unforgiving, tearing through everything in your path without remorse. How can you claim any form of righteousness when all you leave behind is suffering and destruction?.

In the dimly lit stone chamber, Li Qiushui and Tianshan Child fought fiercely. The sound of clashing weapons and the rush of wind from their movements reverberated through the walls. Xu Zhu, caught between his loyalty to both women, was paralyzed with indecision. He watched helplessly as the battle escalated, his heart heavy with worry.

Episode 38

Tianshan Child’s promise to help Xu Zhu had always carried an air of mystery, and when the time came, she asked him to bring her Wuyazi’s painting, a seemingly ordinary task that soon unraveled into something far more profound. Xu Zhu, unaware of its deeper significance, presented the painting to her with innocence.

Episode 39

Murong Fu, his mind clouded with jealousy and frustration, realized that the poison that had bound everyone to their fate had been lifted by Xu Zhu’s miraculous efforts. The burden of his existence, so tied to his pursuit of revenge and ambitions, now felt meaningless. His envy over Duan Yu’s affection for Wang Yuyan gnawed at him, the bitter emotions finally pushing him to abandon everything.

Episode 40

Quanguan Qing looked down on Chen Guyan and audaciously attacked her, but due to his slightly weaker skills, he was suppressed.

Jiumozhi had already gained the upper hand in the battle, but he refused to relent. His arrogance was on full display as he savagely injured Master Xuandu in front of the gathered crowd, not only to defeat him but to humiliate the Shaolin Temple. The blow was devastating, leaving Xuandu unable to continue fighting, and the atmosphere was heavy with shock and tension.

Episode 42

Ding Chunqiu, a ruthless and calculating figure, used his influence over the vulnerable A Zi to corner You Tanzhi into an impossible situation. He knew that You's deep love for A Zi made him vulnerable, and he cunningly threatened her safety, demanding that You accept him as his master. The manipulation didn’t end there, Ding also issued a public challenge to the esteemed Shaolin Abbot Xuanci.

Episode 43

Wang Yuyan's heart ached as she pleaded for Murong Fu's life before Qiao Feng, her voice trembling with desperation. The powerful swordsman’s hand hovered in the air, his blade ready to end the dispute, but Yuyan's words stayed his strike. Murong Fu would live, yet the defeat at Mount Shaoshi, where he had been humiliated in the sword duel, gnawed at his soul.

After enduring two hundred blows, Xuanci managed to muster his true energy to protect his heart, reflecting on the liberation.

In the midst of the tension, A Zi's fury was palpable, her rage directed at Zhong Ling’s careless words. She seethed with anger, her heart clouded with jealousy and hatred, and she commanded You Tanzhi to dig out Zhong Ling’s eyes, a cruel and merciless punishment. The scene was grim, as Zhong Ling recoiled, terrified of the impending violence.

Episode 46

Murong Fu’s anger flared as Jiumozhi’s taunts echoed in his ears, yet he hesitated to strike immediately. Though the provocation was clear, he was well aware of the danger posed by his opponent's formidable martial arts. Jiumozhi’s reputation for mastering some of the most powerful techniques in the martial world was not to be taken lightly.

Episode 47

While staying at an inn, Duan Yu wandered into a room and discovered a strange piece of writing scrawled on the wall. The cryptic characters, devoid of any poetic rhythm or grace, sparked his desire to complete the unfinished verse. He couldn't resist the urge to fill in the blanks, and as he began to work, Wang Yuyan, who was grinding ink nearby, noticed his concentration.

Episode 48

Duan Zhengchun resolved to take his own life, stabbing his sword into his chest. Upon seeing this, Dao Baifeng was heartbroken and chose to die.

Episode 49

Xiao Feng chose to commit suicide to maintain peace between Song and Liao, feeling remorse for his ties to Liao.
