Gandhi My Father is a 2007 Hindi biography film starring Akshaye Khanna, Darshan Jariwala, Bhumika Chawla and Shefali Shah. The film is produced by Anil Kapoor and is based on the biography of Harilal Gandhi.. While the Father of Nation had great plans for the country, but his own son Harilal was unhappy with the plans his father had for him. While Harilal wanted to study abroad and become a Barrister, Mahatma Gandhi wanted him to join the freedom struggle. The film traces the troubled relationship between Gandhi and his son.
